Do you know a teacher that should be honored for his or her dedication to the classroom, commitment to the school system, and desire to go above and beyond for each individual child?
We are looking for outstanding educators who are loved by their students and respected by their peers to be nominated to the Summit County All-County Teaching Team.
Summit County school superintendents and a selection committee will select the members of the All-County Teaching Team from the nominations received prior to the deadline. The Teaching Team will be comprised of one teacher from each school district in Summit County, two teachers from Summit County parochial schools and one teacher from Summit County private schools. This team of dedicated educators will be recognized at the Summit County Education Celebration at The University of Akron Student Union Conference Center on Monday, October 13, 2008. One member of the Teaching Team will be selected and honored as the 2008 Teacher of the Year during the event.
All teachers nominated for the All-County Teaching Team must be full-time, kindergarten through 12th grade certified teachers who teach in Summit County.
